Abstract

本稿では、ビルマ語の教科書である加藤[1998]にみられる全20課の会話文をチャック語(チベット・ビルマ語派ルイ語群:バングラデシュ)に翻訳し語釈を付与したものを紹介する。かぎられた分量の資料からでもチャック語にみられる基本的な文法事項を観察することが可能である。すなわち、さまざまな格の用法(属格6-B6など;目的格6-A1など;場所格2-A3など;共同格5-B3など;呼格11-A1)、数詞と類別詞(7-A4など)、否定(1-B1など)、決定疑問文(1-A1など)、補足疑問文(1-A2など)、命令文(10-B6など)、否定命令文(10-B9など)、動詞連続(4-B5など)、使役(17-A6など)、受身(15-B5)、名詞修飾(9-A1など)、条件文(4-B3など)、所有(7-A1など)などの用例が提示されている。

Cak is a Luish language of Tibeto-Burman spoken in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, Bangladesh. This paper provides a collection of interlinear texts of Cak dialogue which in turn is based on the twenty conversational texts from the textbook of Burmese for Japanese speakers by Kato [1998]. In the limited number of materials, fundamental grammatical aspects of the Cak language are demonstrated. They include examples of case markers, numerals and classifiers, negatives, interrogatives, imperatives, serial verb constructions, causatives, passives, adnominal clauses, conditionals, and possessive expressions and so forth.
