<論説>朝鮮・日本における初期金属器文化の系譜と展開 : 銅矛を中心として

Abstract

弥生文化の所産である青銅器の系譜を追求するため、本論では銅矛をとりあげた。中国では殷後期に、銎に両耳をもっ銅矛が出現する。しかし西周以降、中原および河北では無耳有穿の銅矛および戟の刺部が主流をしめている。一方春秋末以後、湖南を中心とする江南地域では銎部に鼻あるいは環耳をもつ矛があらわれ、戟は形づくらず特有の変化をしめす。河北の戦国時代青銅器文化の影響をうけて銅利器の鋳造を開始した北鮮では、いぜん実用の武器として銅矛は使用されていた。しかし南鮮では儀器化のきざしがみえる。弥生前期末近くに始まる日本の青銅利器は、慶州を中心とする朝鮮南部のものを舶載し、以後南朝鮮の工人の手によって、日本の青銅利器の鋳造が開始される。そして鋳造という利点を十二分に活用することなく一方向的な変化を示すものをつくりつづけ、弥生時代の社会の規制力をうかがわせる。

To trace the genealogy of bronze produced in the Yayoi 弥生 culture, spear-heads are treated in this article. In China in the latter half of the Yin 殷 dynasty appeared the spear-heads with ears at the socket, but in Chung-yüan 中原 and Ho-pê 河北 after the period of Si-chou 西周, the copper arms with no ears but a hole, and tz'u-pu 刺部 of Chia 戟 were prominent. On the other hand, since the end of the Ch'un-ts'in 春秋 in the Chiang-nan 江南 region around Hu-nan 湖南 appeared spearheads with a nose or circular ear at the socket, showing special change without the formation of Chia 戟. In northern Korea where the casting of Bronze tools were commenced under the influence of the bronze culture of the Warring Period in Ho-pê Bronze arms were still used as a practical weapon, but in southern Korea signs of their change to ceremonial vessels are observed. Japanese bronze which began at the end of the first half of Yayoi 弥生 was cast by the south-Korean technicians hereafter, [shipping] bronze from southern Korea around Kyongju 慶州, and without making the most of the feature of casting they continued to produce the vessels with a one-sided change, which shows the regulating power of society in the Yayoi 弥生 era.
