<論説>朱三太子案について : 清初江南の秘密結社に関する一考察

Abstract

朱三太子案というのは、康煕四十六年 (一七〇七) 十一月、浙江大嵐山の張念一らと江蘇太倉州の一念和尚とが、時を同じくして、明の崇禎帝の遺子という朱三太子を奉じておこした反乱をいう。この反乱は、清末の革命運動に大きな役割を果たした秘密結社天地会の起源説話のモデルになったという説が行われ、かなり多くの研究がある。しかし従来の諸研究は、二つの事件を混同し、張念一と一念和尚とを同一人とみる誤りを犯してきた。ところが近年北京と台北とで公刊された清代档案集の中に、この反乱に関する公文書＝奏摺が含まれていることが分かった。本稿はこれらの史料を用いて、反乱の顛末をたどり、二つの反乱の性格を検討して、一念和尚案の方が復明をめざす政治的反乱であり、その背後に蘇州を中心とする「反清復明」の秘密結社が存在したこと、その結社は雍正朝まで存続したこと等を明らかにした。

The Incident of Prince Chu San in the rebellion risen in by Chang Nien-i 張念一 of Mt. Talan 大嵐山 in Chê-chiang ghêng 浙江 and also by I-nien hêshang 一念和尚 of T'ai ts'ang chou 太倉州 in Jaing-su shêng 江蘇 at the same time, accompanied by Prince Chu San who was the son of Emperor Ch'ung-chên 崇禎帝 of Ming 明 dynasty, in 1707 (the 46 th year of K'ang-hsi 康熙). It is prevailing that it was the origin of the secret society T'ien-ti hui 天地会 which played an important role in the revolutionary movement at the end of Ch'ing dynasty. Though there are fairly many studies on this incidnet, they confused the one case with another and made a mistake which identified Chang Nien-i with I-nien hêshang. Some official documents, Tsou-chê 奏摺, are found in the collected archives of Ch'ing dynasty, which were lately published in Pei-ching 北京 and T'ai-pei 台北. Upon these documents this article reports how the rebellions occurred and investigates the characters of both of them. And it has come to light that the case of I-nien hêshang was political revolt aiming at the revival of Ming dynasty; behind it there existed the secret society for "Fan-Ch'ing Fu-Ming 反清復明", whose center was in Su-chou 蘇州; the society continued until' Yung-chêng 雍正 period.
