<論説>戦国期における荘園村落と収取

Abstract

永正四年 (一五〇七) の上久世庄算用帳は、京都近郊の上久世という一つの荘園を分けあって展開する、荘園解体期の荘園領主東寺の支配と、当該地へ勢力を浸透させつつある武家給人の支配とを具体的に示すという点で希有の史料である。本稿は、同帳の分析によって、東寺・武家給人双方の収取の実態を明らかにし、あわせて上久世農民各層の動向をさぐろうとしたものである。まず、同帳の作成者・作成時、目的を検討し、同帳の性格を明らかにした。次いで、収取の分析により、東寺支配の衰退を見、一方で武家給人支配がほぼその実をあげているのを見た。武家給人の収取は、荘園領主の本年貢・公事と名主得分を一括して把握しており、独自の収取形態を生んでいた。また、算用帳作成者である寒川氏と侍衆・百姓との関係の諸側面が、算用帳の中で散見された。

Kamikuzenosho Sanyocho 上久世庄算用帳 in the 4th year of Eisho 永正 (1507), a report on closing accounts of manor is important historical material. It shows two controls concretely, which shared one manor near Kyoto, Kamikuzenosho 上久世庄. One of the controls is that by the lord of the manor, Toji 東寺 Temple which was in the period of decline. The other by Buke-Kyunin 武家給人 which was permeating his power through the manor. By analyzing this manorial report I aimed to clarify the actual condition of revenue of both Toji Temple and Buke-Kyunin, and to examine the condition of peasants. First of all I investigated the following questions ; who wrote the report, when was it written and why? And I clarified the character of the report. Secondly through analysis of the revenue I found the control of Toji Temple falling and that of Buke-Kunin growing. The revenue of the latter contained Honnengu 本年貢 and Kuji 公事 that belonged to the lord of the manor, and Myosyu-Tokubun 名主得分 en bloc. So it made a special form of revenue. Finally I found some features of relation of the writer Samukawa 寒川氏 to Samuraishu 侍衆, Hyakusho 百姓 scattered in the report.
