<論説>西周期鄭 (奠) の考察

Abstract

西周期鄭(奠) に関して、奠井叔・奠虢仲・奠登伯などの称謂が存在する。各々、井叔・虢仲・登伯に奠地の名を冠した称謂であり、井関係の咸井叔・豊井叔、虢関係の城虢仲もこれと同様の称謂法によるものである。このように地名を冠した称謂の存在は、内・外服諸侯である本族とは別に、これらの地にその分族が存在したことを示している。鄭(奠) には周王の直轄領である奠還が存在し、それを管理する諸官が配されるとともに、その周辺に内・外服諸侯の分族が存在するという構造を考えることができるのである。また鄭(奠) は周王の「都」とされる豊・周などの地と同様の構造を持ち、西周王朝の政治的・軍事的拠点として王「都」に比すべき地であった。西周王朝は、これらの王「都」を含む諸地を中核として王畿(内服) が形成され、更にその周辺に外服の諸侯が封建されるという、いわば三層の講造として理解することができるが、内・外服諸侯の分族が鄭(奠) ・豊などに存在することは、各氏族の血縁関係がこの三層を結びつける機能を果たしていたことを示している。

We can find names of Dian Jing Shu 奠井叔, Dian Guo Zhong 奠虢仲, Dian Deng Bo 奠登伯and so on, in Dian during Xi Zhou period. They were by names that combined the place name of Dian with Jing Shu 井叔, Guo Zhong 虢仲 and Deng Bo 登伯 as well as Xian Jing Shu 咸井叔, Feng Jing Shu 豊井叔and Cheng Guo Zhong 城虢仲. By existence of these names that contain place names, we can know that the branch families of Nei Fu 内服 Wai Fu 外服 feudal lords lived in these places. And we can suppose that in Dian there was Dian Huan 奠還, a direct management of Zhou 周 kings, which some public offices controlled, and around it there lived branch families of NeiFu WaiFu feudal lords. Moreover, Dian had the same structure as Feng 豊, Zhou etc. which were called "capitals" of Zhou kings, and it was the place equal to kings "capitals" as a political and military base of Xi Zhou dynasty. So we can argue that Xi Zhou dynasty had, as it were, the threefold structure that Wang Ji 王畿 (NeiFu) were built up around kings' "capitals" and around them, WaiFu feudal lords were given fiefs. And by existence of branch families of NeiFu WaiFu feudal lords in Dian, Feng etc., we can infer that blood relationship of each clan connected these three structures one another.
