<論説>史記述春秋経伝小考

Abstract

『史記』の春秋期を扱った部分が春秋経伝・『国語』に多く取材することは周知の事実である。しかしながら、『史記』がその春秋期の記述に際してこれらを具体的にどのように取捨選択したのかについては不明の点が多い。かかる観点に基づき、本稿は、以下の構成で『史記』における春秋経伝引用の性格を考察する。先ず第一章では、『史記』における『公羊』・『穀梁』引用の実態が確認され、特に公羊説の引用については当時の公羊家の影響が或る程度作用していたことが指摘される。第二章では、『史記』が春秋期の如何なる動向に注目し、そうした動向を記述するために如何なる事件を重視したのかが明らかにされた上で、それら春秋大事の内容を手掛かりに、『史記』が春秋経伝を引用する際の取捨選択の基準、春秋三伝相互の位置付け、諸史料中における春秋経伝の史料的地位などの問題に対し若干の展望が示される。

Generally schalars have recognized that when Shiji described the Spring and Autumn period, it mainly collected data from the Spring and Autumn Annals, its commentaries and the Guoyu 国語. But the basis of collecting data has never been explained. From this point of view, the author of this article tries to clarify the following subjects on Shiji's quotations from the Spring and Autumn Annals and its commentaries. 1 Shiji's quotations from the Gongyangzhuan 公羊伝 and the Guliangzhuang 穀梁伝 commentaries. 2 Influences of the contemporary doctorine of the Gongyang school on Shiji's quotations from the Gongyangzhuan commentary. 3 Historical events that Shiji paid attention to by which Shiji described certain historical tendencies of the Spring and Autumn period. 4 Shiji's basis of quotations from the Spring and Autumn Annals and its three commentaries, and Shiji's evaluation of these three commentaries, together with its evaluation of these texts as compared to other historical materials.
