Study of logic is the study of valid inference. But the current systems of formal logic do not accord with the natural understanding about inference. The most obvious case is that the formal logic systems remove the contextual nexus (such as causality) away which is required to be in between the antecedent and the consequent of a conditional sentence. In this study, I will show first that the contextual nexus cannot be reduced to the mere combination of truth values of the sentences and it plays an important role when the systematized kwowledge explains something. Secondly, I will point out the logical rules that should be revised so that the formal logic system can treat the contextual nexus correctly. And lastly, I will argue that, with this revising, the contextual nexus is to be in the first place prior to the truths of sentences.en
