<論説>庄園制解体期の山城国上久世庄

Abstract

庄園制解体の原因に関しては、庄園領主権力の支柱となつていた室町幕府権力の衰退、それに伴つて武家・国人衆の外部よりする庄園侵略、また内部的には農民層の政治的経済的成長と、それによる年貢の未進抑留等が、従来一般的に云われていた所である。然しそれは云わば概説的に説かれるに止まつて、個別庄園に就いてはつきりそれを跡付けたものは尠なかつたように思う。このことは史料的制約に依る所が多いのであるが、幸い東寺領山城国上久世庄においては、戦国時代の史料も比較的豊富に残されており、殊に永正四年 (一五〇七) 算用帳は一庄的な規模で、庄園制の解体過程を具体的に示しているのである。本稿においてはかかる観点から、永正四年算用帳を中心として、上久世庄における東寺の庄園支配の崩壊過程を具体的に追求した。

The causes of the dissolution of the manorial system have been given, such as the decline of the Muromachi (室町) shogunate power which supported the feudal lords' power, herewith the external aggression of kokujinshû (国人衆) or landlord against the manors, the political and economic growth of peasantry internally, and hereby the unpaid, withhold land-tax. But these causes are found in the general histories; few studies seems to prove causes in individual manor, because of the lack of original sources. Conveniently we have comparatively rich sources of the age of Sengoku-Jidai (戦国時代) or Civil War about Kamikuzenosho (上久世庄) in the province of Yamashiro (山城) in the Tôji (東寺) territory, and especially Sanyôchô (算用帳) in the fourth year of the Eishô (永正) era enables us concretely to clear up dissolving process of the manorial system.
