<論説>圏構造と地域構造 : 奈良・会津二盆地を例として

Abstract

地理学において、近年、中心集落を中核とした圏構造を手がかりとして、地域を把握しようとする研究がさかんになりつつある。筆者もこの立揚にたちながら、奈良盆地と会津盆地を例にとり、先進地域・後進地域という地域類型が、圏構造にいかに反映しているかを考察した。次いで封鎖的でローカルな圏構造が、近代的なメトロポールによつて、いかに変形され、蚕食されていくかという過程とその要因について考えてみた。

In recent years many geographical studies begin to center in a regional study on the basis of concentric-construction which has a central place as a core. This article, on the above-mentioned standpoint, presents a study on reflection of regional pattern, forward or backward, upon concentric construction, in Nara (奈良), and Aizu (会津) Basins as examples; and then we consider the process in which and the factor by which a closed, local construction of concentric zone is transformed or encroached by a modern metropolis.
