<論説>西魏時代の敦煌計帳戸籍に関する二・三の問題

Abstract

さきに山本達郎博士が発表された、スタイン漢文文書第六一三号 (西魏時代の計帳様文書) は、博士の精緻な研究によつて、その様式・内容があきらかにされ、学界に貢献するところは実に大きかつた。今回わたくしは博士の研究にもとづいて、つぎの二・三の問題を考究した。①本文書における二つの記載様式 (A・B二種) について考え、A種を戸籍、B種を計帳と推定した。②本文書中の課戸・不課戸・台資戸の内訳と丁数について、一応の算定を試みた。③本文書にみえる課口・課戸・不課戸・課見輸等の語は、唐代において汎用される用語であるが、その意味内容は西魏と唐とで異っている。この解釈の相違から、劉文成戸のように不課口のみの戸が、課戸となるような事態を招来していると考えた。

MS s. 613 of Stein Collection in the British Museum', published in 1954 by Dr. Tatsurô Yamamoto 山本達郎, was of great use for students, with its style and contents clarified. Relying on his study, this article treats the following three problems: (1) of two kinds of records in this document (according to his classification, divided in to A and B), one is supposed to be Hu-ts'i 戸籍, and the other Chi-Chang 計帳. (2) calculation of the number of each of the first, second, and third of (Pu-k'o-hu 不課戸 and K'o-hu 課戸), the class of house unit in taxation in returns. (3) classification of K'o-k'ou 課口, K'o-hu, etc. in this document was extended in the T'ang 唐 dynasty, and the terms in the Si-wei 西魏 dynasty differed from those in the T'ang dynasty: K'o-k'ou in the former means a bearer of tax in kind, and in the latter a bearer of taxes in kind and in labor. The regulation of Hu-ts'i in the T'ang era is not always available in this document for the Si-wei period.
