<論説>北宋期・両浙路の土地所有の問題について

Abstract

両浙路は宋代では天下の産米生産地で、路域の生産力は商品生産の段階にまで発展したものである。このような路域の生産力は唐代において発揚され、生産の要域を構成していたものであるが、しかし唐末・五代の争乱・銭氏の支配は大巾に戸数の減耗を来し、著しい生産の低下をみたようである。しかしこの戸数の減耗は税役負担の過重による担税戸の減耗を意味するもので、生産力それ自体の減退を必しも意味したわけでなく、却つて土地所有のなかに生産力は潜在的に温存されていたもののようで、宋初に於ける過重負担からの解放が、生産戸の増加、特に主戸の激増となつて、路域生産力の著しい向上・発展をみたことはこれを裏付ると云える。 宋代に於ける路域産米にみる商品生産の盛況は生産に対する資本の直接投入をみて、大土地所有を推進している。而して高度生産地・商品生産地の特相からして、主戸の多くは大土地所有に依存することによつて、即ち佃作し、傭賃することによつて、主戸たるの地歩を保持したもので、路域の経済成長は一に二者の相関関係の均衡のもとに進められ、他面成長に伴う富戸・形勢戸の土地所有の拡大、生産農戸の零細化が推進されて行つたものである。即ち水利修復に際しても「受益民戸の工・料の負担」の原則をうちたてながらも、在地富戸による資材の投入が行われ、それだけに水利の占有と土地の兼并が富戸によつて進められて行つたものである。

Liang-chê-lu 両浙路 has already constituted a main rice-producing area in the T'ang 唐 period, where a large reduction of house numbers and production has occurred because of the disturbance at the end of T'ang and the rule by maney 銭 family in the Five Dynasties, which means the reduction of tax-payers' houses on account of overburden, not of the productive power itself which seemed retained in tne land-owning itself asa potential productive power : along with a superiority in land power, thanks to the emancipation from the overburden of early Sung 宋 period, in Sung Ehu-hu 主戸 increaed rapidly and the productive power progressed and developed, deserving the main rice-producing area in China. Rice-producing for a commodity called a direct investment of capital to the production, which promoted large land-holdings; then many Chu-hu held their position by renting rich houses. Economic growth in this road area proceeded under the balance of interdependence of land-holdings by rich houses and the tearing in fragments of direct producing houses.
