<論説>漢代男子のかぶりもの

Abstract

漢時代の社会、経済、日常生活などを研究する上の重要な資料として、豊富な絵画的、彫刻的な資料がある。これを歴史資料として利用し、そこに表はされた内容を問題にしようとする場合、中の人物の地位、職分を判定することが必須であるが、かぶりものはその主要な基準となるものである。筆者は主として後漢書輿服志の記述をもとにして、該当のものを絵画、彫刻資料の中から探し出し、一種の集成図の形にまとめた。長冠、委貌冠、皮弁、爵弁、韋弁、卻敵冠、緇布冠、法冠、建華冠、樊噲冠、巾、笠については新たに図のごときものをそれぞれアイデンティファイし、幘閲、通天冠、武冠類などについては従来の説を補足した。

There are many pictorial and sculptural materials as an important researching source on the community, economics and daily life in the Han 漢 era. When we try to use them as a material of our historical study and consider the expressed content, it is essential for us to judge the position and occupation of the expressed persons in them; especially headgears are to be its chief standard. The writer, according to the description of "Treatise on Carrages and Dress 輿服志" in "Hou-Han-Shu 後漢書, " trace the fittest ones in the pictorial and sculptural materials, and arrange them into a kind of corpus. Fig. 1……Tsê 幘, Fig. 2……Mien 冕, Fig. 3……Ch'ang-kuan 長冠, and Ch'ueh-fei-kuan 卻非冠, Fig. 4……Wei-mao-kuan 委貌冠, Fig. 5……P'i-pien 皮弁, Fig. 6……Chueh-pien 爵弁 and Wei-pien 韋弁, Fig. 7……T'ung-t'ien-kuan 通天冠, Fig. 8……Chin-hsien-kuan 進賢冠, gnd Ch'ueh-ti-kuan 卻敵冠, Fig. 9……Tsu-pu-kuan 緇布冠, Fig. 10……Fa-kuan 法冠, Fig. 11……Wu-kuan 武冠, Fig. 12……Chien-hua-kuan 建華冠, Fig. 13……Fau-k'uai-kuan 樊噲冠, Fig. 17……Chin 巾, Fig. 18……Li 笠, Fig. 14-16……are not identified with the names of Han 漢; Fig. 1, 2, 7, 11 have already been identified by Mr. Yoshi to Harada and others by the writer for the first time.
