Abstract

In this report, we will talk about Research Resource Archive, Kyoto University (KURRA). KURRA is a project to preserve materials that show educational and research activities in Kyoto University. For this project, we developed a digital archive system called “Peek”. To archive and digitize materials properly, we need to collaborate with experts in a variety of areas, as there are a variety of activities in Kyoto University. However, the experts are not always in Kyoto University, and collaboration with experts in a distant institution is often not easy. To solve this problem, we developed a workflow for efficient collaboration, and introduced federated identity management (FIM) into Peek.
