Abstract

The forms of the architecture of shrines do not impart Japanese traditional forms before the introduce of Buddhist architecture, but have transformed themselves according to the social situations of middle-ages and early modern-ages. When we realise as stated above. what kind of points of view are possible as the method for the studies of the architecture of shrines from now on? We are going to consider the movement of recent studies.
