<論文>地域・家庭の連携政策における保護者のつながりの在り方と醸成プロセス --東京都A小学校と大分県B小学校における地域学校協働活動の実践から--

Abstract

Today, the importance of social capital in education is increasing from various aspects such as nuclearization of families and widening educational disparities. Meanwhile, previous researches focusing on the relationship between social capital and children's academic outcome and the cooperation between the community and schools are being actively conducted. On the other hand, only a few researches on social capital of parents have progressed even though the report of the Central Council for Education points out its importance. In this study, I conducted an interview survey of two elementary schools with different regional characteristics. Then, by analyzing with the M-GTA method, we clarified the current state of social capital held by parents and the issues in the process of fostering them. Specifically, (1)there are barriers in process of building social capital and issues related to adaptation after building social capital depending on the situation of parents, and (2)there is a possibility of a gap between parents who have fostered social capital and those who have not, and (3)there is a unique perspective to fathers and the difference of current status of parent's social capital due to regional characteristics. This is a practical material that can be used as a reference for schools to look back on their social capital, and help each school discover what kind of barriers there are, and at what stage in fostering social capital in the context of their own school. It can be said that such suggestions were obtained.
