| 抄録: | The 8th cruise of the Japanese Geodynamics Project (GDP) was carried out in October, 1973. Dredge works and corings were made in the Northern Philippine Sea. A block of basaltic tuff was obtained at the Daini-Kinan Seamount which lies to the south of the Kii Peninsula. A number of manganese nodules which contain angular gravels of acidic plutonic rocks were dredged from the Komabashi-Daini Seamount of the Kyushu-Palao Ridge. Based on these new findings a few working hypothesis concerning the origin of the Northern Philippine Sea were discussed in brief. 1973年10月15日から同27日の間, GDP-8次研究航海が行なわれた. この航海により多くの成果が得られたが, 特に, 西太平洋における, 今後のGDP研究の中での, 地質学的・岩石学的研究の展望を開いたことの意義は大きい |
