都市域とその周辺における大気微量成分濃度とその変動(V)-都市域と郊外における大気メタン濃度差-

Abstract

国内外の諸都市の中心部とその周辺において地表付近の大気メタン濃度を測定して，都市中心部と近郊のメタン濃度差を求め，人間活動との関係について検討した。国内及び欧州・北米・豪州の諸都市の中心部と苑近郊における大気メタン濃度の差は，都市域の人間活動や都市規模に依存しており，人口や都市の大きさなどを用いた1次式で表現できること，ボックスモデルを適用都市域からのメタン発生量の算定が可能であることを示す。

For the purpose of estimating the amount of CH4 emission from the whole urban area, we observed the CH4 concentration at central urban area and its surrounding suburbs, and examined the relationship between the difference of the concentrations at both area and the population or population density of the city; here we presumed the population or population density of the urban area as a parameter relating to the magnitude of human activity of city.
