抄録: | In recent years, due to the declining birthrate and aging population, the movement to develop human resources who will lead the next generation in the entire region is accelerating. In addition, there is a need for the survival of local communities and opportunities for the elderly to play an active role. Under such circumstances, the role of the government is very important in connecting the school and the “outside”. The question in this paper is what role the local government plays in order for the school-regional cooperation policy to work. Based on the above objectives, we selected A city, Shimane prefecture as a research target. As a result, the roles required of the government can be broadly divided into three roles: “collaboration” with citizens, speedy budget allocation, and the role of connecting each section. In City A, these roles are played mainly by the Board of Education. On the other hand, the mayor's department has not been able to coordinate its purpose with the citizens in the school-regional cooperation policy, and since it has not been able to “collaborate”, it is hard to say that the role to be played is fulfilled. The subject of this paper was local administration, but there is also a role required for administration at the national level as a basis for the functioning of local administration. |
