<調査報告>国際高等教育院の活動(2018–2020)

Abstract

2018年に実施した外部評価をふまえ、以後3年間における国際高等教育院の活動について、教育内容や方法に関する取り組み、組織や運営に関する取り組み、大学院共通教育、および新型コロナウイルス感染症対策に焦点を当てて振り返り、今後の課題を考察する。あわせて教育院が中心になって進めている京都大学の学部留学生受入プログラムKyoto iUPの進捗状況と、日本がめざす数理及びデータサイエンスに係る教育強化策の一環として設置されたデータ科学イノベーション教育研究センターの取り組みをこの間の新たな活動として記録する。

Based on the external evaluation conducted in 2018, we review the activities of the Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Kyoto University (ILAS) over the following three years, focusing on educational content and methods, organization and management, graduate school education, and countermeasures against the new coronavirus infection, and consider future issues. In addition, the progress of Kyoto University International Undergraduate Program (Kyoto iUP), in which ILAS plays a central organizing role, and the efforts of the Center for Innovative Research and Education in Data Science, which was established as part of the policy of Japan to strengthen education in mathematics and data science, will be documented as new activities in ILAS during this period.
