抄録: Capillary air-feeder holes of which each one is considered to possess the ability of two restrictions in series have been applied to air-lubricated bearings at high speed. It has been concluded by the experiment that the air-lubricated bearing, having capillary air-feeder holes located in diametral symetry, can be operated in quite a stable state and with an extremely small coefficient of friction — which conclusion coincides perfectly with the value calculated by Petroff's equation. Then it is recognized that the air-lubricated bearing with capillary air-feeder holes is the one which has the smallest friction and good dynamic stability.
