After brief surveying the history of the acceptation of the differential and integral calculus around early Meiji Area in Japan, we introduce the article on nowheredifferentiable function which was originally presented by Japanese engineer at the regular meeting of Tokyo mathematical association in January 1882. Finally, we point out the significance of his presentation in the circle of Japanese mathematicians at that time.en
