| 抄録: | We investigated an explosive sound with an unknown origin that occurred near Moriyama and Kusatsu in Shiga Prefecture, Japan, just after 15:00 on January 19, 2023. From the local testimonies and the signals recorded in the seismic waveforms, this explosive sound occurred at around 15:03 in the vicinity of Kusatsu City and was observed as far as 20 km to the east-northeast. It is difficult to identify an object that generated the shock wave from the seismic waveform record. |
