dc.description.abstractMany informants have refocused their attention on the various needs of children through “Peidu”. Mrs. B, who had a hard time with her flexible work, and Mrs. F, said they always wanted to go back to the villages. Despite Mrs. B, Mrs. H, and Mrs. J, said they enjoyed the “Peidu” life, they wanted to eventually return to the villages. While attracted to urban areas where privacy is respected, many informants are unable to let go of their families and often return to their hometowns after “Peidu”.en
