抄録: | This paper traces the movements of refugee groups from the Second Türk Qaghanate (682-745) after its fall and clarifies the important role they played in the An-shi Rebellion. The Second Türk Qaghanate was attacked in the revolt of a federation of three tribes, including the Uighurs, in North Mongolia, and was driven to the south and then destroyed in 745. Groups of refugees were led by Afusi 阿布思 from the Tongluo 同羅 tribe who became the Military Sub-commissioner of the Shuofang region 朔方節度副使󠄁 . Based on the Anlushan shiji 安祿山事跡 and Shine Usu Inscription, it is clear that the refugee groups were hybrid ones composed of members of the Türk and Toquz Oguz tribes. Afusi later came into conflict with An Lushan, and as a result he and the groups that he led retreated into North Mongolia, but the Uighur Qaghanate defeated them. The refugee groups of Afusi were absorbed into the military of An Lushan, and Afusi was executed by the Tang dynasty. However, these refugee groups re-appeared under the leadership of Ashina Congli 阿史󠄁那󠄁從禮 who belonged to the royal family of Türks. They tried to break away from the An Lushan party at the beginning of An-Shi Rebellion, however they were defeated by the troops of the Uighur Qaghanate. Thereafter, they vanished from the historical record. As a result of the effort to elucidate the origin of Ashina Congli, which involved examining the descriptions of the Epitaph of Xue Tulishifuashi 薛突利施匐阿施墓誌 and the Inscriptions of Li Liangchen 李良臣碑 and Li Guangjin 李光進󠄁碑, it became clear that he was a son of Yabgu Qaghan 葉護可汗 who can be understood as the qaghan enthroned from the refugee groups after the collapse of the Second Türk Qaghanate. For this reason, Ashina Congli was able to lead the refugee groups as the successor of Yabgu Qaghan. From the Uighur Qaghanate's point of view, Ashina Congli was the legitimate successor of the Second Türk Qaghanate, which had been overthrown by Uighurs themselves, therefore he threatened the legitimacy of Uighur rule. For this reason, when the Tang dynasty requested reinforcements in 756 to help suppress the Ashina Congli rebellion, the Uighur Qaghanate felt compelled to send an expedition to attack the An-shi rebels. The Uighur deployment of troops was aimed at establishing their hegemony over the Mongolian plateau by defeating the refugee groups rather than military aid for Tang.# en |
