dc.description.abstractThe Young's moduli of soda lime silicate glass were measured by a dynamic method. Variations of these moduli during heating, cooling and successive heating-cooling cycle were measured, and the quenching effect was observed. Variation of the internal friction was also measured in the heating course. Kinetic consideration was applied to the decrease of Young's modulus with time at constant temperature and the structural changes of network former and modifier were interpreted.en
