精神科実習を通しての看護学生の精神障害に対する態度の変化について

Abstract

This study assessed changes in attitudes toward mental disorders through the psychiatric clinical practice of nursing students. The subjects were 72 nursing students (3rd academic year) at our college. Before and after psychiatric clinical practice, their attitudes were assessed by a survey of general attitude toward mental disorders, developed by Okagami et al. Before psychiatric clinical practice, the nursing students had positive attitudes toward mental disorders. There were no differences in the attitude scores between subjects with and without previous contacts with mentally disabled people. After psychiatric clinical practice, the scores for positive items increased and scores of negative items decreased.
