| 抄録: | We investigated the state of vocational indecision using the Vocational Indecision Scale deveroped by Simoyama in 531 student nurses at 2 three-year junior colleges in Kyoto City. Of 369 students who replied to the questionnaire, 359 female students were analyzed. Factor analysis showed 4 subscales of the Vocational Indecision Scale: "emotional confusion", "avoidance of problems", "positive exploration", and "achieving a decision". Next, each subscale was compared among the grades of the students. According to the Vocational Indecision Scale, the score for "emotional confusion" and that for "avoidance of problems" significantly higher in 2nd-year students than lst-year students. The score for "achieving a decision" significantly differed between the lst- year and 2nd-year students and between the 2nd-year and 3rd-year students, being the lowest in the 2nd-year students. Additional surveys on this issue are needed to establish valid and reliable subscales relating to vocational indecision. |
