dc.description.abstract | The education of occupational therapist in the university and the graduate school has been prepared. On the other hand, it is said that the system of a clinical education and a clinical research to promote the occupational therapist as an advanced profession has been insufficient. However, the fact is not grasped enough. In this research, we investigated how the place of a clinical education and a clinical research was secured in the university hospital. 43% of all teachers took part in clinical in the university hospital according to the investigation. However, it was clarified that the advantage of the university hospital that the education and clinical were adjacent had not been made the best use of because there were a lot of problems like the location of the occupational therapy section in the university hospital, the number of staff, the system of participation to clinical of teacher, and the cooperation of university and university hospital etc. Therefore, it was clarified that the advantage of the university hospital where the education and clinical were adjacent had not been made the best use of. To promote an advanced profession, it is preferable to cooperate with the university hospital and to secure an education, a research and a clinical place. Measures including the establishment of the rehabilitation center as clinical, educational and research facilities in the university hospital are necessary. | en |
