京都大学医学部保健学科・看護学専攻への教師の提言―平成14年度京都大学全学教育シンポジュウムおよび文部省主催看護教育ワークショップの参加報告とそれを踏まえた教育への提言―

Abstract

This article conteins two reports from the important educational meetings which I have attended in 2002, one the Annual Educational Symposium of Kyoto University, the other one an Educational Workshop Held by the Ministry of Education and Science. These were very useful, and I gained important input and suggestions for educational activities in the Department of Health Promotion, Faculty of Medicine, Kyoto University which is starting next year. In particular, the radical changes that take phace in contemporary society was mentioned. The implication is that university education must be expected to change, even in our long-established an prestigious universities. We must be ready to both provide students with the high level of technical knowledge which contemporary society demands, but also be ready to teach human understanding and social responsibility, and genuine human feeling. In all, I have proposed educational innovations for practicum and for unification of educational system in university hospital to the education of department of health promotion ; particularly in nursing.
