第一部肺癌の組織型別転移傾向(原発性肺癌剖検例の組織学的検討)

Abstract

There were 324 cases of primary lung cancer which were autopsied from 1968 to 1985 in Tenri Hospital. The distribution of metastasis was assessed on 320 of the cases according to four common histological types. In all types, the most frequently affected site of metastasis was contralateral lung followed by liver, bone and bone marrow, adrenal, heart and pericardium, and kidney. Both organ and lymph node metastases were found least in squamous cell carcinoma among the four types. In squamous cell carcinoma, the three subclasses showed almost equally localyzed metastases. In adenocarcinoma, more systemic metastases were found as the differentiation were poorer. In small cell carcinoma, there was no signifficant difference between the two subtypes.
