| 抄録: | Coniferyl aldehyde and alcohol, most important compounds as lignin monomers were synthesized by a new simple method. Methoxymethyl isoeugenol was oxidized with 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-1,4-benzoquinone (DDQ) to methoxymethyl coniferyl aldehyde, which gave coniferyl aldehyde by demethoxymethylation with AcOH. Reduction of the aldehyde with NaBH_4 gave coniferyl alcohol quantitatively. |
