抄録: | In order to prevent or decrease the damage resulting from a flood and to utilize thewater most effectively, the multi-purpose reservoir projects have been planned, in many rivers, and high dams are constructing. As a large amount of construction cost is desired in perfo-rming those projects, it is our urgent problem, among others, how to decide scales and loca-tions of reservoirs reasonably. In this paper, the decision problems of locations and storagecapacities of flood control reservoirs in a river, and of the bounded elevation in a multi-purpose reservoir between the storage capacity for flood control and the one for water utili-zation were discussed by the use of Bellman's principle of optimality in dynamic programm-ing. Furthermore, the fundamental equations in these two decision processes were proposed, and a computational example of decision of the bounded elevation in the Asahigawa multi-purpose reservoir was explained. |
