上宝地殻変動観測所観測序報

Abstract

京都大学防災研究所附属上宝地殻変動観測所は, 地震予知研究の年次計画に基づき, 地殻変動と地震の発生との関係を明らかにして地震予知方法の手がかりを縛ることを目的とし, 文部省令により, 昭和40年4月1日付をもって岐阜県上宝村に設置されたものである。観測所は, 観測所本館・観測ドーム・および観測坑道の3部分から成り伊本館と観測ドームは昭和40年11月に・また観測坑道は昭和41年3月に竣工した。一部の観測は昭和41年6月から開始され, 10月からは総ての観測が始まったが, 現在のところ, まだ, 特に報告すべき研究成果は得られていないので, 本序報においては, 観測所g概要, 観測の種類, 主な観測器械等を紹介するに止める。研究成果については次回以降逐次報告する予定である。

The Kamitakara Crustal Movement Observatory was established on April 1st, 1965, for the purpose of researching the relations between crustal movement and earthquakeoccurrence, and further, finding out some clues for earthquake prediction.The observatory consists of the three parts of the main building, observing dome, and observing tunnel, the former two of which were completed in November 1965 andthe latter one in March 1966.Although some kinds of observations commenced in June 1966 in this observatory, it is still premature to report the observational results. In this report, therefore, thefeatures of the observatory, kinds of observations carried out at present, main equipmentsinstalled in this observatory and the like are described.
