えびの地震および1968年十勝沖地震の余震観測結果について

Abstract

昭和43年2月21日にえびの地震, 同4月1日に1968年日向灘地震, 同5月16日に1968年十勝沖地震と, 昨年前半にわが国で相次いで被害地震が発生した。これらの地震とそれらによる被害については, すでに関係各方面で詳しく報告されているとおりである。われわれはこれらのうちえびの地震と1968年十勝沖地震のそれぞれの余震*の一部を現地の近くで観測し, えられた記録を解析して若干の考察を加えたので1)・2)・3), それらの結果をとりまとめて報告する。観測はいずれの場合もそれぞれ1地点に限定されたが, これら両地震の特性の一部を明らかにすることができた。その結果はすでにわれわれが報告した松代地震の結果4)・5)とともに, 地震工学ならびに耐震工学の研究に有益な一資料を提供できるものと期待される。

The observations of the aftershocks of the Ebino earthquakes and the 1968 Tokachioki earth-quake were carried out about the middle of March and late in May 1968, respectively, with amagnetic data-recorder system. In both cases seismographs were set on the ground surface and atthe top of reinforced concrete buildings of three stories. Some of the seismograms thus recordedhave been analyzed, and their Fourier spectra, autocorrelation functions and response spectrawere computed. The results of these analyses were discussed from the point of view of earthquakeengineering and aseismic engineering.
