| dc.description.abstract | The inelastic behaviour of steel frames under monotonous or repeated horizontal force wasexperimentally investigated, using nearly full scale one-bay one-story frames with mild steel wideflange sections. The test program consisted of eight specimens, which was composed of fourunbraced and four braced frames. Four of them were tested under constant vertical loads onthe columns. The horizontal force was applied to the beam-to-column connections of test frames.The experimental behaviour are described in detail and are discussed in comparison with theanalytical ones which are consisted the effects of repeated horizontal force on the elastic plasticbehaviour of the frames. | en |
