日吉津海岸および高浜海岸における波浪観測について

Abstract

浅海における海岸波浪の予知法を確立するに際しては, 現地海岸での海底摩擦係数の値が, 波浪特性や海底の状態によってどのように変化するかを調べておくことが必要になってくる。著者は, そうした海底摩擦係数と波浪特性との関係を見出だすために, わが国各地の海岸で波浪観測を実施してきたが, これまで, 比較的大ぎな波に対する資料を得ることがでぎなかった1)解4)。そこで, 著者は, ひきつづいて, 1964年11月23目から12月10までの18日間, 鳥取県日吉津海岸で, 1965年3月4r日から3月13日までの10日間, 福井県高浜海岸で波浪観測を実施して, 比較的大きな波に対する資料を得た。この論文では, そうした波浪資料を有義波法および波浪スペクトル法で整理した若干の結果を示して, こうした方面の研究の参考に供したいと思う。

Forecasting shallow water ocean waves is one of the most important problems incoastal engineering at present. Nevertheless among the characteristics of shallow waterocean waves, the wave height reduction due to bottom friction is not well known.To make clear the transformation of shallow water ocean waves for relatively largewaves, the wave observations were made off the Hiezu coast in 1964 and the Takahamacoast in 1965.This paper presents the results of wave observations analyzed both by the significantwave method and the wave spectrum method. -Nine and twelve wave data at the corresponding two stations could be obtained atthe Hiezu coast and the Takahama coast, respectively.
