成層岩盤の斜面崩壊に関する一模型実験

Abstract

岩石の節理, 層理, 片理あるいはひび割れなどのいわゆる岩目には不規則なものもあるが, それらが一定方向に発達して成層状態をなす場合も少なくない。後者の成層岩には主方向にある主成層面のほかに, これとほぼ直交する副層面が潜在していて一つの弱線を形成しているものが多い。ここではこのような成層岩盤の斜面安定の研究の一つとして, Fig・5のように主成層面が単斜層をなし, この層を横断する副層面を有する斜面の崩壊について・塩化ビニールで作った長さ5cm, 幅2cm・高さ2cmの方塊状ブ・ックの積層体を傾斜させて実験を行なった。本文はその実験ならびに成層岩盤斜面の崩壊機構について考察したものである。

A model experiment on the slope failure of stratified rock was carried out by blocksmade of vinyl chloride.As an experimental result, it can be concluded that the slope failure occurs even ifthe slope angle of stratified layer ~is less than the frictional angle between the layer cP, and that the critical slope angle of the stratified layer below which slope stands decreaseswith the increase of slope height. Further in this paper the reason why above resultsare caused is discussed.
