近畿地方南部の降雨について(第2報)

Abstract

高層気象観測にもとずく大気の状態と降雨状況との関係を把握することを目的として雨量の多い近畿地方南部における暖候期の降雨を対象に, 前報では日雨量に対する大気の安定度と下層の風の極値の関係について調査した1)。今後は日に4回の高層気象観測を全部活用する方針で6時間雨量を採用することとし, ここでは9時および21時の水蒸気の流量と9時および21時前後3時間の6時間雨量との関係を調査した。高層気象観測資料は前回と同様に近畿南端の潮岬のものを用い, 対象領域も同様に潮岬を中心に約100km以内の範囲で(Fig。1), 調査期間は1961年6月～10月である。

The relation between horizontal water vapour flux over Shionomisaki in the layerfrom 1000mb level to 450mb level and 6-hour precipitation over the southern Kinkidistrict in warm season is investigated. 6-hour precipitation tends to increase accordingto the horizontal water vapour flux. When the flux exceeds a certain value, the numberof cases of heavy rain increases abruptly. Considering the direction of the mean windin the lower atmospheric layer, the relation between the flux and rainfall becomes moredistinct. The relation between the horizontal vapour flux and the mean wind is alsodescribed.
