抄録: | Many studies on river hydrology have been hitherto made in order to contribute therationalization of water planning. However, these studies which mainly depended onmuch avairable hydrological data were not sufficient to plan the practical water projectespecially in mountain district, because there were only a few avairable data.In this paper, the authors proposed a method to classify the states of the existenceof the hydrologic data and showed the way to make the insufficient data useful for eachcases. As an example of such cases, we tried an analysis for a hypothetic project ofpumped storage hydroelectric in a small mountain district and obtained some interestingresults. The contents of the analysis are as follows; (1) compiling the effective hydrologicdata, (2) predicting the shortest period of requied storage by statistical analysis, (3)calculating the peak discharge of design flood by using the decision method of peak flowbased on the theory of characteristics.We hope that this study is the first step to systematize and generalize water planningin mountain district. |
