| 抄録: | The mechanism of the tidal mixing and its effect on the tidal flushing in Seto Inland Sea arestudied with use of a small hydraulic model, of which the horizontal and vertical scales are 1 100000and 1/1000 respectively.The tidal residual circulations near the straits and within the bays are most effective on thehorizontal mixing of large scale.There are some regions, where the tidal residue is much smaller, in the midst of Hiuchi-Nada, Iyo-Nada and so on, where the diffusion is so weak that the matter released in the Bisan-Seto Straitshardly reach westwards beyond there. |
