| dc.description.abstract | In general, the effect of the simultaneous application of combined axial load, bendingand shear on the strength of a member can often be expressed by the failure interactionsurface. An experimental study is made to determine the general interaction surface ofreinforced concrete member with and without web reinforcement. The major variables arethe length of shear span, the percentage of web reinforcement, and the axial load. Allspecimens were the same rectangular cross section (8cmX8cm). Main discussion is concen-trated on the general interaction surface based on the initial cracking strength and maximumstrength. | en |
