| 抄録: | Seismic activity in and around Tottori city, southwest Japan, in the period from 1965 to 1975is investigated by using the data from the observation network of the Tottori MicroearthquakeObservatory. The spatial distribution of microearthquakes is quite similar with that of after-shocks of the Tottori earthquake (1943, M 7.3). The activity varied periodically with time witha period 3-4 years. The b value in the Gutenberg-Richter's relation is estimated to be 0.6-0.8.Focal mechanisms are studied for the two largest earthquakes (M 3.7 and 3.9) in recent five years. |
