dc.description.abstractThe rainfall-runoff problem in a river basin has been one of the main subjects inhydrology for a long time, however, the problem is not solved sufficiently as yet. Oneof the reasons for it is that the basin geometry making the rainwater flow field is toocomplicated and large to be modeled easily.The authors have developed the methods for analyzing the network structure of thebasin geometry and making the fundamental structure of the runoff model to considerthe effect of the basin geometry. In this study, by combining those methods with therunoff calculation method based on the kinematic wave method, the runoff model toconsider the effect of the basin geometry is developed.en
