| 抄録: | A method for estimating strong earthquake motions is developed that can be used for assess-ment of earthquake damage on buried pipelines. A statistical prediction model for nonstationaryearthquake motions and a numerical technique of surface wave propagation are combined toobtain the relative ground displacement and the ground strain. The method is applied for severalsites along the main routs of buried pipelines for gass and water supply systems for Kyoto city.The numerical result is discussed regarding the effect of site conditions on earthquake intensity andthe relation between the maximum velocity and ground strain in Kyoto area. |
