| 抄録: | The characteristics of the actual Climo-Geomorphogenetic processes in China were reviewed and anew classification of morpho-climatic region dividing the whole country into 3 main and 12 sub-regionswas explained on the basis of our own studies.Under various climatic-geomorphological conditions, all sorts of natural disasters in the mountainousregions occur frequently at many places in China bringing about serious damages to the inhabitants ortraffic lines there. Recent examples of landslides and debris flows were introduced with slides and causesof such rapid mass movements were indicated on the basis of scientific investigation by Chengdu Instituteof Geography, Academia Sinica. |
