| dc.description.abstract | To improve the seismic performance of steel reinforced concrete (SRC) with plane flangeH-shaped section, behavior of SRC columns with deformed flange section is investigated. Testof fifteen specimen was conducted, with various parameter, such as, the form of flange (planeand deformed), web reinforcement ratio, column length, steel web thickness and compositionof the column cross section. Theoretical shear strength of SRC columns with deformed flangesection is obtained making used of extended theory of superposed strength. It is verified thatthe shear strength of columns with deformed flange section is larger than that of plane flangesection. | en |
