Abstract: Influence of soil surface moisture of the time cange rate of soil surface temperature is studied.In the case of high soil moisture, the surface temperature change rate is smaller than the low soilmoisture case. In time period 8:30 to 9:30, when heat exchange with atmosphere is small, the re-lation between soil surface moisture and soil surface temperature change normalized by net radia-tion is in proportional relation, and its proportional constant roughly corresponds to the soil heatcapacity increase by soil moisture in the soil layer of 15 cm deep.
