抄録: | Rapid recovery from earthquake damage is an important issue in lifeline earthquake engineering.This study presents effective procedures to optimize post-earth.quake restoration processes of lifeline network systems.In this study, cumulative number of customers connected to supply nodes is used to indicate condition of recovery, and mean time for restoration of overall customers is adopted as a criterion of optimality.First, in order to make all demand nodes connected to supply nodes, the tree structure that covers all the nodes is identified from trunk lines among the original network.Recovery sequencing of damaged components included in the spanning tree is then determined by use of technique of operations research.Next, an easy method to determine optimal division plan of peripheral pipelines is proposed on the basis of the importance and degree of damage of each potential division. By use of this method, average time for restoration can be minimized with a given number of divisions.Some illustrative examples have been shown. |
