dc.description.abstractThe calculation method of three-dimensional flows over rough surfaces was shown. The simulated results were compared with the experimental data in the wind tunnel and the applicability was examined. The configurations of buildings and houses in a real urban city were obtained from a map and a aerial photograph. Numerical calculations of turbulent boundary layer over this urban area were carried out using the three-dimensional simulation method. The calculated values were compared with the observed data at some points in the city. The applicability and the adaptable range were examined by comparing the calculated values with the observed data at some points in the city. Finally the predicted values of wind speed for the wind resistent design were presented using the simulated results and the observed data.en
