dc.description.abstractHalocypretta, a new genus of halocypridine ostracods in the subfamily Halocypridinae is proposed for H. parvirostrata, new species in the North Pacific and for H. striata (Muller, 1906) in the Indian ocean. New genus and species are described and illustrated. Keys to all genera of this subfamily and to all species of the new genus are presented.en
